  • Added a custom power setting to turn off custom colors on a named horse.  This allows you to name your horse the same name as a custom horse, and turn off the colors if you  want your horse to look like an ordinary horse.  This option is accessed via the "Power Settings" button on the horse inventory screen.

  • Added power settings for magical horses!  Now you can turn on and off each power available to your magical horse.  Look for the button in the upper left of the inventory screen!
  • New horse armors, horseshoes, and horse helms!  Emerald and Obsidian!
  • A new special type of horse armor, Invincible Horse Armor: While wearing it, your horse cannot be killed!
  • Hippocamps now give you Night Vision when you ride them underwater, making it much easier to see.

  • Reduced number of DataWatcher objects that are used by the mod.  This makes the mod less likely to have conflicts with other mods.
  • Made all DataWatcher objects used by magical horses configurable in the configuration screen.  If there is a DataWatcher conflict with another mod, you can tune these values to fix the conflict. Use with caution! 
  • Many configuration options no longer require a restart of Minecraft to make them take effect (though some still do, mostly just the entity ids).  
  • Fixed a number of minor bugs, like inventory weirdness when horse equipment items are shift-clicked, horses not being able to lower their head while wing buffeting, etc.
  • 3 new custom unicorns (Darkheart, The Wild Myth, and Pikachu)!

    • A config option to make destriers and other big horses not break things when they rear, if no one is riding them.  This includes Typhon's Cataclysm Charge power.  By default set to "true."
    • A config option to make magical horses not hurt friendly mobs and players when they rear up.  By default set to "false."
    • A config option to make destriers and other big horses not break leaves (and other wimpy things) just by walking into them, if they are not being ridden.  By default set to "false."
    • A config option to make it so magical horses don't suffocate when their head gets in a block.  By default set to "false."

  • In 1.7.10 version, made rabbits act normally (instead of hyperactive as they were in 1.3.2), and added rabbit sounds.
  • In 1.7.10 version, fixed Typhon's Death Wind power to not summon multiple zombies for each animal killed, and instead only summon one zombie per kill.

    • Alea - New projectile shield aura, which protects her and her rider from projectile attacks.

    • Velvet - Now has her own entourage of bunnies that follow her around.
  • Modified the Healing Horn power to not heal hostile mobs, and to also damage undead.  It also has more noticeable particle effects now.

For 1.7.10 and 1.8:
  • Added the new horse breed, the Hippocamp!  These fantastic magical horses can swim, will allow you to explore the watery depths (they even keep you from drowning while riding them), and can even interbreed with other magical horse breeds! 
  • Added the new Spirit Tree, which you may find growing in your world, or can even plant yourself (if you can find a sapling).  Spirit Trees are watched over by elusive spirit creatures, and they respond well to gifts placed in the tree's hollow, and may leave you gifts in return.
  • Added the Wooden Oracle.  The Oracle is a wooden structure that can be imbued with a great magical horse spirit that can reveal the secrets of the past, present, and future.
  • Added new item drops for magical horses and witches.
  • Added new trading option with Villagers.
  • Fixed bug with spirit tree hollow, so that it doesn't crash when using shift-click to move around items.
  • Reduced amount of time that spirits will replace items placed in the spirit tree hollow.
  • Hippocamps move on land slower than previously (in the 1.8 version, earlier versions moved almost as fast on land as in water).
  • Hippocamps now have back flippers (in the previous 1.8 version, they didn't).
  • Custom unicorn textures and ultimate unicorn textures are now applied to hippocamp parts (in the previous 1.8 version the hippocamp parts for custom horses all looked the same as unicorn-skinned hippocamps - now they all look unique, including the ultimate unicorns like Rainbow Smash, Red-winged Blackbird, etc.).

1.2.4 - Hippocamps!
For 1.8 only (for now):

  • Added a new custom unicorn!

1.2.3 - More Unicorns and Bug Fixes!
  • Fixed bug in which some horses made with cheat codes would be invisible.  They are no longer invisible!  :)
  • Fixed bug with DNA tester in which some horses made with cheat codes would cause the DNA tester to show incorrect DNA values.  Now if your cheaty horse has flaming hooves, a horn, big size, an aura, or wings, your DNA tester will show the appropriate DNA for that feature! 
  • Seven new custom horses!

1.2.2 - Bug Fixes!
  • Improved Custom Horse titles to display in all views, not just in the horse inventory screen.
  • Fixed summon bug in which pegasi, destriers, and nightmares could not be summoned with entity data (such as {Tame:1,Saddle:1} without getting turned into a unicorn.
  • Fixed bug in which horses, when resized, didn't update the rider position properly (such as when using \entityData to turn a Unicorn into a Destrier).
  • Made it so horse wings don't flap when a horse is on the ground.
  • Fixed horse names for Nightmare, Pegasus, and Destrier (so "Unicorn" is not improperly displayed for them).
  • Added human-readable text to control key bindings for the controls config page.

  • Added Brazilian Portuguese language translation to many parts of the mod!  Special thanks to Felix, who did the translation and helped make this happen!  Note that I still need to add some translated dialog text into the mod - it's ready to go, just not inserted into the code yet.
  • Fixed bug in config file loading.  Setting an entity's spawn chance to 0 no longer causes a crash, and instead makes that entity type no longer spawn naturally.
  • A couple new Custom Unicorns!

  • Refined Wand of Dropsies to shoot farther, but have a smaller beam size.  It now also appears on the unicorn model when you equip it to a horn slot.
  • Extended Flame Aura power's range to be larger than Protection Aura's range, so a custom horse with both can use its Flame Aura power more effectively (keep your friends closer than your enemies).
  • Attempted to fix Kreezxil's bug by turning all byte data values into int data values.
  • Wands now lose durability when used in a horn slot, just like when you use them in your hand.  They will break when they run out of durability, just like normal usage.
  • Ice horseshoes now turn lava into rock, just like they turn water to ice.
  • Fixed bug in 1.7.10 version that would cause a crash in dedicated server mode when a player tried to tame a pegasus.
1.1.5
  • Fixed Wand of Dropsies to affect players, make skeletons who are disarmed stop attacking, and not create phantom items. It's still OP and doesn't look right when equipped on a horn slot, but it's lot's of fun!

1.1.4
  • New config screen and config file, for changing entity names (and entity name backups) in case of collisions with other mod entity names.  This was particularly a problem with "Unicorn" and "Nightmare."
  • A custom horse name fix - Celluingil is now Gelluingil.
  • New item!  The Wand of Dropsies.  Some guy blasting you with that annoying Wand of Call Lightning?  Zap him with the Wand of Dropsies and make him fumble it onto the ground, right where you can pick it up!  Note: Wand of Dropsies is not yet approved for use on your Unicorn's horn (it won't crash or anything, but it won't look right up there).
